Summary:
The Strategic Planning Consultant plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making across the Broward Health system by leveraging data analytics, business insights, and effective communication. This individual will extract, mine, analyze, and interpret complex data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks while translating findings into actionable strategies that drive organizational success.• Extract, mine, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured healthcare data from multiple sources (e.g., EMRs, financial systems, and operational reports) and ensure best practices for data integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Develop predictive models and data-driven insights to support strategic planning, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes. Compare hospitals to each other and to local and regional competitors.
• Use statistical methods and machine learning techniques to identify key trends and patterns.
A. Experience (or equivalent education):
6 years of experience in data analysis, business strategy, and healthcare analytics. Experience with business intelligence, visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and data analysis tools (Python, R, SQL, SAS) required.
Experience in a healthcare provider, payer, or consulting setting is highly desirable.
A. Certification/Registration: Epic Certifications: Caboodle, Slicer Dicer, Radar preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
Experience: 6 years of experience in data analysis, business strategy, and healthcare analytics.
